Stefanie has been a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist since 2002. She co-founded Wallin & Luna Counseling Associates in 2006. Since that time she has been dedicated to helping individuals and families work through relationship problems, infertility issues, pregnancy loss, infant loss and postpartum depression. She is a certified trainer for Postpartum Support International and has worked within the Albuquerque community to train nurses, midwives and NICU staff about screening and treatment of Perinatal Mood Disorders. 

During her work in both the non-profit and corporate sectors of the mental health field she has partnered with her clients to address issues such as self-esteem, body image issues, abusive relationships, relationship difficulties, homelessness, life transitions, substance abuse, depression and anxiety. During her career she has worked with families, children, adolescents and adults.

Stefanie is a Clinical Member of the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapists, (AAMFT) and is member of the Mental Health Professional's Group of  The American Society for Reproductive Medicine (ASRM). She has served on the board of the New Mexico Association of Marriage and Family Therapists (NMAMFT).  Stefanie and Kristin were proud recipients of the New Mexico Chapter of the National Association of Women Business owners (NAWBO), Up and Coming Business Owners of the Year Award for 2008.

She is a native New Mexican and in her spare time enjoys traveling, reading, gardening, hiking, camping, backpacking, and spending time with her family and friends. She believes, wholeheartedly, in the power of the human spirit to heal and overcome incredible obstacles; not simply to endure but to thrive.
